With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources and Recruitment, Kate Edson brings her passion for people and her deep expertise to her role as Head of Operations at Raine & Horne Newtown. She’s worked across industries, from global corporations to family-run businesses, and her heart is set on creating the best possible environment for both employees and clients.

For Kate, real estate isn’t just about property—it’s about people. She firmly believes that a great employee experience naturally leads to an outstanding customer experience. In a field as emotional as real estate, where buying or renting a home is often one of life’s biggest decisions, she’s committed to supporting her team in navigating the highs and lows that come with it.

Kate’s role is as dynamic as she is. From policy improvement and compliance management to strategic planning and marketing, she oversees the daily operations that keep the business running smoothly. But for her, the real reward is being part of the journey when a team member celebrates a big win.

Having called the inner west home for the last 18 years, with time spent in Newtown, Erskineville, and St Peters, Kate now resides in Leichhardt. She’s deeply connected to the vibrant community, which adds a personal touch to the way she approaches her work. While new to the Raine & Horne family, she’s already struck by the team’s strong sense of camaraderie and can’t wait to nurture that positive culture further.

With a Diploma in Human Resources and a Diploma in Counselling, Kate is well-equipped to handle both the practical and personal sides of her role. After six and a half years in real estate, she’s found her rhythm in its fast-paced environment, thriving on improving processes and helping her colleagues succeed while ensuring everyone feels valued along the way.
